Mike Craig of GKW Business Solutions provided Chief Financial Officer services for six months for a $250 Million company after their CFO resigned. We were in the process of selling the company to a private equity group when Mike arrived and he did an excellent job of supervising the staff, overseeing the monthly close process, and providing extensive due diligence process throughout the entire process. Mike and I have a lot of history. He came to work for my company -- Butterball Farms, Inc. -- after running 5 plants for Federal Mogul. He brought with him a lot of experience in lean practices. I think he found a relatively small food packaging company to be more of a challenge than he expected. We were relatively unfamiliar with lean. So in the time he was with us he made a lot of progress reducing waste, streamlining manufacturing and developing lean practices and thinking within our team. He left our company to take the President role in an aerospace company and is now taking his skill set and his experiences and helping other companies be successful.
