We are now in week 6 (or 7) of the Covid 19 Pandemic and it has become extremely difficult to Network as we have become used to. Effective Networking is the driver in growing a business and the simple face to face for a cup of coffee has dramatically changed. Attending Trade Meetings, Associations, Church Service as we know it has changed and may never be what it has been in the past. The technology that we have at our disposal is both inexpensive and capable but not the same as the face to face discussions. So the challenge becomes how to bridge that gap and continue to grow our businesses. The virtual meeting space may be the best answer (Webex, Zoom, etc) and has been helpful to me to navigate the Networking Challenge. With that said, the use of Cyber Platforms to grow our businesses to find the right market is becoming extremely important as the economy open up. The game has changed and the players that will thrive need to change as well. If you are not reviewing your presence by Blogging, Interacting with your Peers by Zoom, Posting your Business Model in a way that future customers csn see what you are about you are likely to miss the mark and you put your business at risk. I am working through this evolution with my business and learning as I go. No right answers here other than if you are not promoting change you will be left behind.
