The Servant Leader

The Servant Leader

As I have been virtually networking over the last month, I believe the landscape has changed not only in how we will network moving forward but the Leadership needed to maneuver the New Normal as the economy reopens. I have heard the word Leadership used frequently as I discuss with peers what they are seeing and hearing in their respective areas of responsibility. The need for Strong Leadership at this time may be more important than any other time in my life. As I support the Stay at Home Mandate, I have been watching PBS and more specifically Ken Burns Biographies. I recently watched the Roosevelt’s and the challenges that Teddy, Franklin and Eleanor endured and the lasting impact each of them had on this country. I believe we have the same opportunities today to show strength, provide leadership, treat people with respect and dignity and lead by example. This great country needs each of us to step up and inspire others. This country needs to return to its roots and remember why this country was founded and what it represents. In God We Trust should be more than words, it should be our mantra. The ultimate servant leader provided us with the example we should strive to emulate. Jesus Christ was the original Servant Leader and I am honored to follow him and his will.
